What’s yours to fulfill right now?

Reader,

In times of uncertainty, stillness, discernment, and aligned action are valuable and essential.

So when I need to recenter, I ask myself a variation of the question:

What’s mine to fulfill right now?

It invites me to simplify to what I can contribute, rather than getting caught in pieces of the broader mosaic of my soul and Life that I cannot see. And are not pieces for me to hold or move anyway.

Answering this question requires four main elements:

  • space to reflect
  • discernment of current position, to inform what is needed
  • trust in the answer
  • aligned action on the answer

Insight

A challenge that I continue to navigate on my spiritual journey is discernment of progress that does not solely depend on external outcomes.

This is humbling and confusing to the human mind!

Yet, necessary to develop inner and outer leadership to walk our unique path. (Re)centering in our individual contribution is the only way I know through the heightened level of uncertainty and diversity we’re experiencing with 2026 energy (and beyond).

Since we not all experiencing the same things at the same time, nor in the same ways, we’re continuously invited to sharpen how we assess what’s right for us.

This is where the four main elements come into play: space, discernment, trust, and aligned action

These are not steps to follow in a specific order (although you can, if you’d like). They're elements of a living practice. Meaning it is responsive to the moment. Some days I take an action first and then pause to reflect on where it landed me. Other times, I sit in stillness until I trust the proposed action that’s coming through.

The entry point shifts. What stays consistent is including all four in some way.

And what that looks like is personal. For example, for someone who has been:

  • action-oriented— searching, moving, experimenting — the aligned action right now might actually be stillness. An active, chosen trust in what's already been set in motion.
  • rest-oriented— in a more quiet, waiting place — realizes what's theirs to fulfill and not yet doing it — the action is to move. To expand outward.

Either way is perfectly valid. Both require discernment of where you already are to know which one brings you into balance.

Closing Reflection

Which of the four main elements space, discernment, trust, and aligned action might be most needed right now to fulfill your individual contribution?
