Remembering your Light

Reader

Lately, I've been seeing something clearly in my Conversations with Spirit: humanity has been living upside down.

We've been conditioned to see our fragmented, guarded ego as who we really are—and our True Self as some distant ideal or myth. But I believe it's the opposite.

Insights

Our True Self—the union of our Divine aspect and our human experience—is our wholeness. It's our natural state. The ego, trying to operate separately, can only create fragmentation or division. And somewhere along the way, we've normalized living from that fragmented place.

My personal focus right now is helping us turn ourselves right-side up. Coming back into right relationship within ourselves. Remembering that being led by our True Self is natural, and being run by our guarded ego is the distortion.

In meditation recently, I saw this image: the sun—our Light—becoming obscured by gray clouds. The clouds are the ego's protection, fear, control. But the Light is always there, even when we can't see it.

The invitation is to remember our Light and draw it through with intentional, conscious practice. Bringing the embodiment of our Presence into the distortion. Dissolving it, not by force, but by connecting with the Light so It can shine through.

And when we can do this for ourselves, we can practice it with others and the situations in our lives—whether we verbalize it or not.

Here's what this looks like for me right now:

  • Pausing when a fearful or judgmental thought shows up. Acknowledging it by saying: I hear you and I send you love. But, you don't get to use my mind for negativity.
  • Anchoring in my presence with my breath. A few slow, deep breaths to reconnect with my center during an activity or when I feel reactive.

There's no need to eliminate the ego. It is essential to experiencing individuality. This is about remembering what's true—and choosing from that place.

Take what resonates. Leave the rest.

Closing Reflection

As we move deeper into February, I'm inviting you to notice:

When do you feel obscured by the clouds? And what would help you connect with your Light in that moment?

All it takes is a willingness to see yourself right-side up.

If you're feeling the call to explore this inner work with support, I'm here—whether through a single alignment session or ongoing partnership as you deepen into your True Self.
